About Me
What drives me is the responsibility of nurturing in my students a desire for excellence; I believe in the role of education to impact lives. As an English and TOK teacher, I work towards this by creating an intellectually exciting lesson. Being an IB examiner has been an invaluable resource that has enhanced my teaching and my student’s performance. The content of teaching, the varied methods I adopt to teach and offer feedback reflects my goal as an educator and the core values of courage, creativity, humility and empathy that I live by.
I am conscious of the energy and enthusiasm that work effectively towards a productive teaching experience. A variety of teaching strategies, a range of assessment devices, multiple ways of offering feedback are at the core of every lesson. I have been teaching since 2003.
I now live in Melbourne, Australia. I love reading, watching movies, walking, cooking and practicing yoga. I am a yoga instructor as well.
